Although seven lettermen were lost from the Eagles, '54 team the coach ex- pects seven returning lettermen with which to build this year's team. Because of graduation the following outstanding lettermen will not return this year, Larry Johnson, Max Sinn, Bud Williams, Leroy Legge, Lee Bryan, Gene Wil- liams, and Roger Stroud. Bolstered by the Bi, squad and the frosh of last year, Coach Leroy Hook expects the following returning lettermen: lnfielders, Manley Lease, Dick Ohme and John Calistrog outfielders, Wes Williams and Dick Ohmeg pitcher, Darryl Brown, and catchers, Don Rizzutto and Bob Stokes. Wmadqmea The West Valley track team has high hopes for this season. Returning are sixteen members of last year's squad. They are: Seniors, Ron Gilmore, Don Cray, Dave Rurey, Dean Thames, Dan Daly, Walt Schlangen, John Propp and Dennis Chandler. The coach will be without such standouts as Roger Walser and Jim Shannon, who got many of the points last year. Some of the juniors who should do well this year are Fred Shaffer, Harry Emtman, Ed Arildson, Warren Tilton, Steve Lewis, Vic Mullett, Larry Phillipy, Dennis Lane and Richard Marshall. With the help of a few of last years frosh this track season should be a good one. gnu- I Img: 'i ' K HARRY ENITNIAN FLOYD HENRICKSEN STEVE FLINN Basketball Basketball Basketball , N xvjj Spam ELDON HALL Basketball ,nv RICHQEJRJHIEEESE lv gm , l f f I tl it H - J , If v' Lf , H .ix , DICK STONE Basketball GARY PRICE Baskvtball Football L TOWNSLEY I LENNY .
