THE SPICE CDF WEST'S LIFE WAS VARIETY, AS TROUPE 628 PRCVIDED YEAR-ROUND THEATRICAL ENJCYMENT Nothing beats television like a good theatrical production, and the West Valley Thespians offered a variety of spectacular productions to quench the desire of drama- thirsty students as well as Fairbanlss residents The entertainment began with the Homecoming play, Time Out for Ginger. The show starred Kathy Gibson as a young girl who wanted the chance to play on a boys' football team. It provided the large audience with humour that filled their hearts with laughter. To fill the holiday season the Club put together a Silhouette of Christmas. The production included both The Gift of the Magi and Christmas for Cosettef' These productions gave all holiday season play' goers a warm and cozy feeling. f Spring brings thrills and the Thespians joined in with their contribution, The Playroom. Their first drama, it sent chills through those who watched as five teenagers plotted to lsidnap and murder a young child that lived in the same apartment. Shalsespeares birthday offered West's dramatists another chance ta perform and they did, Ladies of the Tower and As You Lilse It gave the Festivol's crowds both drama and hilarious comedy. Guiding the large host of talented actors and actresses was Mr. DeWild. With his experienced and exceptional directing aptitude Troupe o28's advisor helped West Valley Thespians to exceed themselves with every performance.
