THE INCREDIBLE M0 HULKS West's Varsity Matmen are: BACK ROW: Manager Tami Sitter, Coach Frank Adame, Randy Talvl, Mike Caciarl, Ted Thomas Shane Holmberg Ray Miller, Dan Kelly, Assistant Coach Bill McAfee, Manager Kathy Stone. FRONT ROW: Wayne Sharp, Jeff Moehlin, Craig Woods, Kevin Kaltenbach, Bill Merritt, Gerald Lancaster. NOT PICTURED: Manager Vikki Allen. Matmen Eddie Miller, Wesley Mills, and Bill Merritt are awarded for capturing the 105 Wt. Class at Tough worls-outs, pumping iron, and running up a sweat every day obviously isn't easy, it talses determination and dedication. The Wolfpack wrestling team had more than just determination, they had row talent, Their prestige was clearly exhibited when they won their sixth straight Region VI Championship-two of the titles were won as West Lathrop, and the successive four as West Valley. Discipline is a lsey factor for keeping in shape, and Coach Fronls Adame supplied plenty of it, resulting in an incredibly strong wrestling, sprained anlsles and torn muscles are inevitable, When accidents occured, managers Vilslsi Allen, Kathy Stone, and Tami Sitter whipped out the First Aid Kit and catered to the wounds of the stricken. l'lt's been a hecls of o season! exclaimed Coach Adame, and judging from the rigorous practices and straining marches, he was definitely correct. With a strong Junior Varsity squad and a large number of returning Varsity members, next year loolss as if it could bring home another Regional Championship title to West team.
