Working and Growing With Leadership West Valley leaders, reflecting the spirit of the entire student body, promote academic involvement, activity participation, and community service. Flying Home With '78 An enthusiastic crowd turned up for the homecoming game. But even with zealous cheering, six beautiful floats from all four classes, the choir, Key Club, and the marching band in full regalia, the team lagged behind and the final score was in favor of the plucky Ravens. The Homecoming Dance was acclaimed a success by everyone present. The homecoming court was crowned with Shannon Barnett occupying the throne and Gary Lambert as her consort. They were attended by the Princesses and Princes of the under classes. Q9 4 I Escorted by Prince Dave Lambert is a Freshman Princess Gillian King. Sophomore Princess Mary Van Hoomissen accepts her honor and a flower for Prince, Paul Milan. Radiant Queen Shannon Barnett poses with King Gary Lambert. Juniors Bernice Burns and Russ Talvi bridge the homecoming dance floor.
