Muscle Builders Cheesecake lover, Mrs. Diadre Dalrymple supervises the cheerleaders and Spirit Freaks. This girls P.E. teacher also collects antiques. Travel and sports find favor with Mrs. Ruth Scanlan, volleyball coach and P.E. II and III instructor. Athletic director, football and boys basketball coach, Mr. Ted Deleon is a fan of the Irish and has long wished to personally see a football game played by them in the Notre Dame University Stadium. The lead singer in the new rock group, Brighter Side of Darkness, happens to be our own Mr. Al Shoats. A fan of carrot cake, he hopes to become a good piano player, performer and songwriter. A newcomer to the school, Miss Judy White teaches a variety of subjects. In the past she has been an ad- visor to many different activities and enjoys getting involved. He's never lost a student?l It sounds ominous but the risks are minimal as Mr. William Ernst has his Drivers Education classes under firm control. Something for everyone can be found in the reper- toire of Miss Karen Hagglund's hobbies. Sewing and crosscountry skiing are only a few of the favorites of this shorthand and general office practice instructor. The clatter of typewriters sounds as Mrs. Mattie Herning starts her classes. When not munching soft chocolate chip cookies with pecans, Mr. Noel Napolilli supervises students in his Power and Auto Mechanics classes. In addition to sponsoring the Rifle and Pistol Teams, Mr. Napolilli spends his time shooting competitively. The instructor of General Metals and Woodshop, Mr. Tommie Turner frequently hunts and fishes. A habitual horseback rider, Mr. Turner desires to grow old gracefully so he wonlt fall off his horse. Especially intrigued with painting and design, Art Education teacher Miss Lois Hughes spends many hours immersed in her work. Advising in Art activities and improving her own skills occupies much of her leisure time. When not working on the wheel, Mr. Charles Scott coaches wrestlers and P.E. students. Art Industrial rt 3 .
