Under the aid of advisor, Deborah Pomeroy, Ed Lambert chairs the Biology group, and Richard Hicks chairs the Physics group. With twenty members total, the biology group spent half of their time organizing the green house, which eventually served as an aid to other science classes, and research for the club. Another newly formed club in the science field is the West Valley Science Fiction Club. Doing just what its name implies, twelve devoted members met once a week to read and discuss the latest science fiction novels . With Kathy Webb as advisor, and Brent Undereiner as main organizer, the group worked hard to complete their main project, which was a time capsule they gave to West. Oth- er activities were films that were shown by the club and the ap- pearance of two members on the 'Fairbanks Today show.
