As the year rolled by, Rochelle lVIatlock, with the help of her officers, reps., and advisors, Karen Hagglund and Richard Tarkiainen, had such class functions as the Junior Prom, candy sales, and others. These near future Seniors prepared themselves for the up coming year by not only selling candy and buying class rings from Josten's but checking up on credits and looking for- ward to their senior year with great an- ticipation. Senior Fore persons As a Freshman in high school you might recall looking up to the Seniors and saying l can't wait! The senior year has always seemed like the easy street of high school. It is the year where you glide through classes and act cool , yet ask one of the Senior Class officers and representatives if this is so and you will probably get a heart felt no way! This year's class was the first graduating class from the new West Valley H .S . and the class officers and reps tried in every way possible to help make this year the best for all seniors .
