Af 1 Hey Don, would you do me a favor and get rid of this photographer friend of yours? lVIore power to these souls who rise at dawn CH, get on the bus and go through the traditional day of a West Valley high school student. IVIore umph to the individual who manages to exist without the social contact of excessive popularity or being known to, or at least, known by every other peer! These are the folks who, down the line, are people with their own personal adventures and tales to share--they are those beings who, through time, will look upon high school as a step- ping stone to living . . . Our average West Valley day consists of making it to class on time--before the tone tones! Each tone signals some sort of dismissal or attention. . .throughout the hall, total chaos reigns and the situation is each soul for their own hide. Finally, after numerous tones, numbers of 50 minute classes and a sparing bite to eat, the last tone does its bit and chaos is at its height. Eventually the day closes with the dis- Ipersion of peoples to their appropriate busses, cars, and walks. Ahh, ome. ALL RIGHT! Lunch Time! 43

When school is dismissed not all students are free to go home and relax, many have jobs tdey must go to. These individuals leave school and begin another day as a secre- tary, sales clerk, gas station attendant, box person, re- porter, or almost anything else imaginable . Although experience or transportation may hinder some people in becoming employed, the community is grateful for the help they are able to obtain.
