Leo and His Big Mac Attack! Leonard Neidhold was chosen to be a member of the 1976 lVlcDonald's All Ameri- can High School Band. He is among 102 of the nation's top high school musicians--two from each state and the Dis- trict of Columbia --who are selected each year to participate in the band sponsored by lVlcDonalds family res- taurants . Leo toured the East coast, with his big event being the Thanks- giving lVIacy's Parade. After a brief Christ- mas, Leo then flew to California where he re- met all his band cohorts There he played in the famed Tournament of Roses Parade held in Pasadena on New Year's Day. 'r f' West Valley Grabs Top Honors Required to send a tape recording of their voice or instrument, a letter of recommen- dation, and a completed application to be screened by judges, the 9 students chosen to represent West Valley at the All State lVlusic Festival were worthy of their honor. Three Honor Choir students were selected along with six from Orchestra . From this honor, students could once again compete for the positions of attending All Northwest.
