H el p- nlimited lf you ever come across a happier person than Gladys Terry it would be a chance in a million. Her cheery smile has brightened mornings for students and teachers alike . Bev Byington is one of those counselors who really tries for you. She holds special interest in students and enjoys strumming her banjo, chopping wood, counseling and weekends! Graciously shedding her glow, Pat Birklid efficiently executes the job of counseling secretary. A 1962 Lathrop graduate, she and her family are active in youth hockey . Formerly of the Fairbanks lVlemorial Hospital Baby Dept., West Valley Nurse Joan Wilcox is a favorite person to go to for sore finger o broken heart--a nice addition to our Help-Unlimited staff! A nutty woman, none the least, she definately makes it as a for- eign language teacher and a Iearnee! She has graduated times over and contrary to unpopular opinion is a fantastic teacher and a joy to be around! Dramatically sharing her Spanish, Susan Peters initiated a Spanish Club and also took on the duties of Co-Senior advisor. She enjoys almost any sport, photography, and the piano. Foreign Language Born in L.A., lVlarvilla Conn is a graduate from a Uni- versity in lVlontana. A music lover at heart she is the leader of the Wolfpack Choir and contributes to orchestral and singing groups. Donna lVlatschke's life is filled to the brim with music Not only does she teach Chamber Orchestra, Training Orchestra, String Ensemble, and Theory of lVlusic, she is also the String Coordinator for 18 schools. This lady re- ceived her IVlasters from the U . of Oregon and went on to Stephens College and the U . of Tulsa.

She's been in Fairbanks for a very short time and soon landed the position of Attendance Office Secretary . An active woman of ldaho, Jana enjoys youth activities in which her children partici- pate, and living in general. Nell Garvey, a lover of beaches, hiking, sewing and ball games has taken to West Valley . She went to a variety of col- leges in California and claims she would not change any of her life thus far.
