, ' M LM 3 1-1' 1 ---.-.A Q Enthusiasts Support Hockey We sure know how Timona feels. Maids Boost Spirit Working together with nine girls, Helen Desinger advised a ii great group of lVlatmaids this year. Required to take a test con- cerning their knowledge of wrestling, these girls also have to maintain good grades and be quite skillful in the art of cuttin' oranges! That being their first priority at wrestling matches, they also serve tea, chocolate, and keep score. Their weekly bake sales earned enough money for them to keep up with their expenses, and they also brightened the halls by decorating the wrestler's lockers! The future looks bright for this organization, and we wish them the very best of luck! STANDING: Helen Desinger, Lauri Code, Brenda Thompsonp Nancy Anderson. Dribbling on to Varsity At the try-outs for the girls basketball team at least 35 girls dreamed of being in the varsity team . Out of all these, only 12 were selected, however, there was potential in many of the other girls so a J .V, team was formed . As the season went on, the dreams turned to nightmares as it became evident that Coach Don Klepper was not Content to have a soft team . As a result of this, a majority of the J ,V,'s quit the team, but the tough stayed on and went on to become the depth on the bench as well as the hope for the future . -,,,,.,..,.o- ' K ,... ,. .-aff' Clear the way.
