Through practicing many hard hours in the afternoons and under the leadership of Tab Whitley they managed to come out of the season feeling good about themselves. Some of the team members were asked about basketball here are some of their replies. Pam Huneycutt said, I like basketball because it keeps me in shape. With the help of Co!! supporters, the J V's had REWARDING SEASON The Junior Varsity Boys' Basketball season started CHIP OFF THE BLOCK Freshman Kris Osborne con- centrates on getting past the defensive player to get a chance to do a layup. off with long hours of practice. Under the supervision of Coach Kim Brown, they learned the skills of basketball. Once into the season, they played their best. With the supportive help of the cheerleaders, fans, and the student body as a whole, the JV squad worked hard to have a successful season. But even though this was not their best season ever, the JV boys basketball team gained the experience of playing basketball and the true meaning of teamwork.
