You are not yet a senior, but you are no longer a sophomore just begin- ning to get used to high school. Nor are you a freshman, just starting to experience the years of high school life. Juniors find themselves. . . Passing the Test In early October the Juniors were faced with the North Carolina State Competency Test. The test was given in a span of two days and took up the first three periods of each day. Written on the sixth grade level, the Com- petency Test is designed toevaluatethestudent's basic knowledge of everyday life skills. Each must take and suc- cessfully pass it before graduating.
