LA CORCLE FRANCAIS To the members of the French Club, French is a living language. They try to talk among themselves, in the meetings, and furing programs, as fluently as a Frenchman. However, there is a minute differ- ence, our Southern accent. The French Club is a cultural club open only to those students who are taking French or those who have completed two years. The programs vary from serious discussions to light-hearted singing. If you hear someone chattering unfamiliar or foreign sounding words, perhaps you are listening to a conversation by two French Club members who are rehearsing their part for the next French Club pro- gram. French Club Officers LEFT TO RIGHT: J. Austin, song leader; L. Gray, treasurer; R. Thompson, president; P. Burleson, vice- president; P. Almond, secretary; B. Lambert, report- er; G. Whitley, pianist.
