For the School Committee and Super- intendent Chris Grammaticas, the year has been one of tangible achievements. They have seen the first results of the unique special education project which got under way in Septemberg and with their support, improvements have been made in other academic areas. A senior honors course Was introduced in history, as was an electronic data processing course in the Business Department. Curriculum additions were also made in science and mathematics. Among the goals set forth by Mr. Gram- maticas are expansion of industrial arts offerings for Wider vocational application, greater emphasis on the humanities, strengthening of reading improvement programs, employment of aides to assist teachers, and more in-service training opportunities for teachers.
