Cynthia Loader First Year Box Social - lst activity Play Records Make up Character How to make up Scenery This being the first year for the Dramatics club has proven to be a very suc oessful year A box social started the year off as our first activity Next came our play it was a huge success The cast was made up from grades 7 12 and directed by Mr Gibb Our director Mr Gibb has taught us many things about make up and how to make up different types of Characters We have also learned how to set up and finish soenery FIRST ROW Marjorie Palmer Anne Maxon Mr Gibb Dolly Dohanic SECOND ROW Linda Palmer Donald Reinke Gertrude Van Slyke FrancesWard Cynthia Loader Barbara Parmerter Fred Weaver DANCE BAND T his year our group organized early in September with the same members back from the year before Our dance band became organized in early Spring when we were needed for a mmstrel show given by our present Freshman Class The members of The Brass section 1S John West Frances Ward John Callahan Martin Callahan The Percussion is Edwin Barlow The pianist IS Betty Bortn1ck and Mr Johns Director In early October we played for the Box Social sponsored by 8th grade and later that month we played during mterrrussion the night of the Halloween Dance The Women s Auxiliary of East Springfield met in January and we played on their entertainment program We also played again in the Spring for the Minstrel Show and again durmg Exhibit night FIRST ROW Betty Bortn1ck Earl Eagley Phil Wickersham Norma Devore Nancy Hill SECOND ROW Edwin Barlow John West Frances Ward John Callahan Martin Cal lahan, Mr Johns Director the sax section are Earl Eagley, Phil Wickersham, Norma Devore, and Nancy Hill.
