Future Homemakers of America FIRST ROW: Dorothy Krahel, Barbara Kuhns, Carol Fleming, Sharon Peters, Lura Mae Goss, Barbara Thomas, Judy Haines, Shirley Hackenberg. SECOND ROW: Marion Norman, Stella Reitz, Peggy Aumiller, Margie Zechman, Anna Mattern, Barbara Shawver, Ruth Boonie, Marilyn Lepley, Marlene Camp, Joyce Brininger, Paulette Bingaman, Ruth Try, Karen Klinger, Jane Every year the Senior F.l-LA. displays a project booth at the Beaver Fair. They deliver boxes to the Shut-Ins at Christmas time and have a Christmas party. The F.H,A. goes to the Farm Show at Harrisburg in January when six girls present a window booth demonstration.. In June they send two girls to the P.F.H.A. Con- vention at Penn State University. The F.H,A. sponsors several money-making programs throughout the year. The organization awards ten dollars to the outstanding girl at graduation exercises. The Senior F.H.A, mem- bership is composed of any student in grades l0, ll, and l2 who is taking or has taken a homemaking course in Junior or Senior High School. 82 Saylor, Evelyn Haines. This year the Keystone Farmers were Wells Wagner, Lee Fultz, Kenneth Wright, and Terry Adams. Terry Adams also was the star Farmer of Region III. 83
