ROW THREE: Linda Williams, Cindy Ritter, Sheryl Ammerman, Ruth Metzler, Nancy Plummer, Russel JUNIOR CHORUS The Junior Chorus is a training program to prepare the student for further choral participation in choral music. Here they be- come familiar with musical terminology, con- ducting techniques, and music fundamentals as well as acquiring a musical experience of lasting importance. Members of this organization are se- lected from grades seven, eight and nine. During the year the Junior Chorus par- ticipated in the annual Christmas program and the Spring Choral Festival. The chorus is under the direction of Mr. Clark G. Nevin. Benfer, Teddy Hetrick, William Kepner, Suzy Mitchell, Ellen Mattern, Ann Pawling, Donna Walter. ROW FOUR: Norma Seler, Donna Snook, Kenneth Hess, TimothySpickler, Gregory Hetrick, Debbie Renninger, Roger Baker, Gary Narehood, Vickie Le-eper, Connie Mattern, Becky Coreau, Miriam Boop, Steve Solomon, Teddy Wenrich, Delmar Ritter, Timmy Bingman, Robert Loudy, Debra Gross, Darlene Snook, Bruce Hassinger, Renee McClellan. JUNIOR BAND This musical unit is composed of seventh, eighth and ninth grade boys and girls who show an aptitude for, and interest in, in- strumental music. It is in this group that the young in- strumentalist learns basic musicianship as well as genuine teamwork. Specific pre- requisites must be met by those desiring to participate with this organization. The Junior Band presented its annual concert this year at the High School and also participated in the Senior Band Concert. It also played during graduation exercises. The band is under the direction of Mr. Clark G. Nevin.

ROW TWO: Douglas Saylor, Kathe Erb, Ronald Bingman, Barbara Kuhns, David Goodwin, Steven Thornburg, Lura Mae Goss, Michael Thornburg, Paul Zeiders, Pamela Mattern, Pat Loht. MIXED CHORUS ROW TIIREE: Marjorie Zechman, Joy Gross, Dolores Carper, Kaylene Garrison, Ruth Try, Jane Saylor, Paulette Bingaman, Karen Klinger, Linda Ritter, Ruth Boonie. ROW FOUR: Elgarda Kratzer, Judy Baumgardner, Rita Klingler, Carol Keister, Judy Middleswarth, Linda Benfer, Gail littinger, Kay Boonie, Kay Goss. this year. It has taken part in the Christmas and Spring Concerts. Students from grades lO,ll, and 12 compose the chorus. This year the chorus has purchased several new se- lections. The accompanist is Nancy Saylor. Mr. Clark Nevin is the Director, MIXED OCTET The mixed octet is a specialgroup composed of boys and girls from the senior high school who are especially interested in singing. Directed by Mr. Nevin the group, sang in several school assemblies, and in a few churches of the area. ROW ONE: Kay Goss, Elgarda K ratzer, Judy Baumgardner, Kaylene Garrison. ROW TWO: Jeffery Norman, Rodney Ilishop, Steven Thornburg, David Goodwin.
