Senior Band The West Snyder High School Senior Band, under the direction ofMr. Clark Nevin, has been very active this year. lt proudly represented West Snyder High School in many parades, winning first prize in competition at the Sunbury Halloween Parade. The annual tag days, with the support of the surrounding community, were again successful. The band presented an assembly of Yuletide Tunes at Christmas time, The annual Spring Concert, through months of preparation, was a big success as the band thoroughly pleased the audience with a splendid performance. Sev- eral students from the band participated in SEATED: Seniors Judy Baum- gardner, Kay Goss, Alan Yeater, Steven Thornburg,Dennis Baker, Roger Pheasant, Kay Boonie. STAND- ING: Elgarda Kratzer, Kaylene Garrison, Neil Knapp, Barbara Kuhns, Sharon Peters, Anna Mattern, Ruth Boonie, K a r e n Klinger, Rita Klingler, Linda Benfer, Judy the District Band Festival at Chief Logan High School. The officers- were as follows: Presi- dent, Steven Thornburgg Vice-President, Kaylene Garrison, Secretary-Treasurer, Elgarda Kratzerg Librarians, Barbara Bingaman, Sally Frey, Rita Klingler, and Anna Matterng Reporters, Allan Yeater and Dennis Baker.
