Row Three: Dennis Knepp, Carole Ritter, Kay Wagner, Arlene Soles, Ruth Ann Gross, Kathleen Dean, Marjorie Keefer, Sarah Heintzelman. Row Four: Jerry Wagner, Leon Wagner, Donald Renninger, Mollie Young, Janice Auman, Jane Spaide, Martha Thomas, Jane Spigelmyer. Row Five: Kenneth C. Wagner, Terry Seler, Wayne Balmer, Roger Spickler, George Hassinger, Robert Kline. Edward Arnold, Robert Furgison. The Mixed Chorus is composed of students from grades ten to twelve. This chorus offers the stu- dent interested in vocal music the opportunity to enlarge upon his or her musical experience and to in- crease his vocal repertoire. Here he learns to blend voices of different range and timbre into a musi- cal and tonal panaroma. Other vocal groups, such as the Girls' Ensemble and Mixed Ensemble, are derived from the stu- dents in this chorus who exhibit a greater aptitude and interest, thereby permitting them to perform music beyond the scope of a general choral group. During this year the Mixed Chorus participated in the Christmas program and also the Spring Con- cert. The Mixed Chorus is under the direction of Mr. Clark G. Nevin. 99

Row Two: Charles Erb, Jerry Wagner, Leon Wagner, Tom Snook, Leon Swigart, Kenneth Wagner. Row Three: Donald Renninger, Bob Kline, Roger Spickler, Richard Sizer, Barry Arnold. The Boys' Chorus, under the direction of Mr. Clark G. Nevin, is composed of interested students from grades ten, eleven, and twelve. These boys have the opportunity of learning to read and sing four part male harmony and simultan- eously learn the fundamentals of musicianship. During this school term the Boys' Chorus participated in the annual Christmas Choral Festival and the Spring Choral Festival. 98

Row Five: Ruth Ann Saylor, Jane Saylor, Nancy Will, Cynthia Schlegel, Martha Zechman, Linda Benfer, Kay Goss, Sandra Stumpff, Maxine Bratton, Tyna Snook, Virginia Spigelmyer, Judy Morgan, James Feese, Donald Goodwin. Row Six: Walter Loht, Joe Shore, Alan Yeater, Wells Wagner, Neil Knepp, Lynn Thomas, Roger Pheasant, Harold Swigart, Glenn Keister, Gary Heintzelman, Gerald Wagner. The Junior Chorus is a training program to prepare the student for further choral participation in 'choral music. Here they become familiar with musical terminology, conducting techniques, and music fundamentals as well as acquiring a musical experience of lasting importance. Members of this organization are selected from grades seven, eight, and nine. During the year the Junior Chorus participated in the annual Christmas program and the Spring Choral Festival. This chorus is under the direction of Mr. Clark G. Nevin. IOO
