Librarian With their newly acquired band uniforms, this musical organization has shown all its ardent z e al with exactness and preciseness in marching. Their first app e a ran c e s were in parades throughout the surrounding communities. The band participated in Halloween parades at Middleburg and Selinsgrove. Although the band was chilled to the bone during the Christmas pa ra d e a t Lewistown, the performance of these musically mind e d s tud ent s brought the best music to the crowd observing the parade. Mr . Sherman Good Sr., band director, was very proud to have entries in county, district, and state music and forensic contests. Then, la s t but not least, was the big climax of the year, a marvelous spring concert in April. The s e flashy, neat appearing majorettes are wearing red uniforms with white trimmings, customary boots, and plumed hats. 96 AND MAJORETTES Third Row: Sandra Herbster, Sandra Kline, Nancy Mattern, Robert Furgison, J e r r y W a gn e r , Kathleen Dean, Kay Wagner, Carole Ritter, Robert Bailey, Jane Romig, Hazel Ballentine, Gloria Hawk, Janice Markley, Betsy Ann Felker Terry Seler, Jacqueline Feehrer, Gloria Pheasant, Dennis Yeater.
