Admit i Mr Nathaniel I Potts Principal June. 1980 Dear Seniors. My graduation message to you is very simple. “You Can Do It Easily! Whatever you need to do. no matter how difficult or demanding or challenging, you can do it—easily! You can have wisdom, strength, poise, guidance, assurance anything you need at any moment and under any circumstance. How? You have the very ability within you as your own personal birthright and heritage. Because of and through this ability in you. you can to anything you need, want, or desire to do—easily! Take a few minutes right now to be still and know this for yourself. Relax physically, emotionally, mentally. Gently bui firmly remind yourself, “I can do it easily. As you let this idea take hold in your consciousness, you will find yourself more adequate, confident, and assured than you had thought possible Instead of thinking and saying, What if I can't? or “What if it doesn't work? or What if something happens?” you will be using the power of the Spirit in you to successfully meet whatever challenge or difficulty that you must face. In closing, let me leave this thought with you . . . We need not go along with unhappy conditions, believing that we have no choice in the matter. Always we have a choice, always it is in our power to change the pattern of our life. There is nothing you cannot accomplish, no goal that can't be attained, if you have abundant energy, joyous enthusiasm, faith in yourself, and most important of all prepared yourself accordingly. MR FRANK PELOSO VICE-PRINCIPAL To the class of 1980, we w ish the best of all of life's challenges and the tools with which to successfully meet them. For life without challenge becomes boring, and boredom often leads to non-achievement. But. challenges must be met with skill. It will be your life’s work to make yourself skillful. The 80's will be a decade of maximum changes in a minimum of time, and you must be able to adjust to the swiftness of the social currents that will cither sweep you along with them, or be directed by you. Remember, one of life’s saddest individuals is the man who never realizes any of his goals. You may not know what you want to be. but you should have an idea as to what you hope to have someday.
