It seems fitting that yours should be the first-as well as the last-class, in whose Year Book I should have a part, for we leave West Side together. Your commencement is also mine. The years that I have spent here at the school have all been happy ones. You too, I hope, have found pleasure in your stay. I know that we leave with regret. I trust that in the days to come we shall find a like enjoyment in our work whatever it may be, that we shall have the courage to carry on against all obstacles that we may meet, and that at last we may find that some of our hopes and dreams have become realities.
