REMEMBER 0 R CLASSES SCHOOL SONG To Union High, the school we love, We sing a song of praise, To all her many victories won, And high her banners raise. To glorify our Alma Mater, Work for her with zest, To show to all the world around That Union High is best. So let's join in the cheer While we're all gathered here, Cheer for old U. C. High Rah! Rah! We are ready to fight For the red and the white, Dear old U. C. High. For her honor and fame For her glorious name, We will stand every loyal man. So cheer, cheer, the gang's all here, All out for U. C. High! The time has come for the Class of 1951 to say farewell to West Side High School. This thought is constantly on our minds as we bring to a close our last high school year. We are preparing to go out into the world with nothing to re- mind us of our high school days but memories. . . memories of our past activi- ties and good times. . . holding our class elections for the last time under the sponsorship of Mr. Paul. . . helping to get the freshmen off to a roaring start on their high school career. . . trying to sell all our schedule pencils before Mr. ' Harader passed out the free schedules. . . having charge of the concession stand at the basketball games. . . sending the field of dramatics into a state of uproar with our Senior Class Play. . . trying to sell air cushions to the tired and weary students and teachers. . . trying to sell our home-made candy at the chili sup- per before we ate all of it. . . taking part in our last musical contests. . . giving the Senior-Junior. . . taking part in the class-day activities. . . always holding dear the memories of our Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises, .... and we hope that as we bid adieu to all our past activities and to the students and teachers at West Side High School, that we can leave behind a glorious and lasting memory of the Class of 1951. SENIOR P . f .
