Operating on a budget of more than Sl,OOO, the West Shorian staff, under the direction of Mr. Palmer, advisor, published eight issues during the 1957-58 school year, presenting to the student body and friends of our school, news, features, and sports articles. Along with such regular features as the monthly class personalities, the feature teachers and the V.l.P.'s, the paper participates in the Cumberland County Tuberculosis and Health Association Press Project, covered the ground breaking ceremonies for the new school, and presented a well-rounded series of editorials.
