After gaining a quick 16-7 lead in the first quarter W.S. went on to win 70-61. Fine defensive play by Aldine Steine- mann plus Doris Redfern's 39 points were the deciding factors. W.S. 66 CAMP HILL 59 The whiz kids, playing an inter-divisional tilt, won a close one 66-59. The score was 57-57 with three minutes to play, but a determined effort by the Troianettes plus each of the forwards hitting in the 20's was decisive. It was a tough battle but the superior strength of our girls proved over- powering. W.S. 45 ENOLA 42 Traveling to Enola for their first league game, the lassies found themselves in a point for point battle. Although the girls were seven points behind with less than five minutes to play, their determination never ceased until the final whistle signaled a 45-42 victory.
