NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The local chapter of the National Honor Society was or- ganized in our school two years ago. The aims ofour chapter -the F. E. Berkheimer Chapter- correspond to those of the National Society: to create an enthusiasm for scholar- ship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to encourage the development ofcharacter in the pupils of West Shore High School. We heartily wish the society and its advisors the con- tinued interest by the student body which has been shown since its formation. We also wish that the society may con- tinue to improve in its four ideals: scholarship, leadership, character, and service.
