Our Athletic Program Our athletic program is under the direct supervision of the Physical Education De- partment. Since the students participate in both intramural sports and inter-scho- lastics, our program touches most of the students in the school and for this reason We have not even attempted to capture, in photographs, the intramural program. Our efforts have centered in bringing you the results of our competition With other schools. West Seneca has entered a team in all the inter-scholastic sports and has had a successful program. Even though the teams may not have been the best entered, the members played according to the rules of good sportsmanship and have never failed to give all they had. These are the things that count, not how many games were won. The coaching staff congratulates its GOOD SPORTS. 74

Our Varsity Football Team this year, under the able coaching of Mr. Urich and ltlr. Schmidt, displayed themselves well out on the Held. The team won only two of seven games but the wins and losses do not show the true picture of the team. The boys tried to Win each game as they played it. The season's Wins and losses were not as important and the personal beneit gained by each boy.
