Glinski, K. Hodges, D. Martin, G. Hall, E. Murray, D. Deubel ESPITE losing many of last year's championship team, West Seneca's baseball team remained a powerhouse. After winning the A A championship of Northem Erie County, we lost to Trott High School in the play-off. On the brighter side during the season was the great squeeze play at home plate, which led to victory over Cleveland Hill. There was Bill G1inski's no hit no run game with Sloan. We shall long remember the tremendous hitting of Jun- ior Bowes, Ted Sloman and Pinky Murray. Other names in the annals of W. S 1953 successful baseball season were Denny Deubel and Chuck Wilson.
