The team took three tournament honors. It took first in its own league, first in the Jewish Center Tournament, first in the Erie County Conference and second in Section VI. Although the team will lose team captain Richard Barry, who went through the regular season undefeated they will have a strong team next year. Ken Meissner, won third place in the National AAU Greecian-Roman style wrestling and fifth in the free style class. This is a very remarkable accomplishment for a high school boy. xl

If ' e ' , A fe S, K C ji One of the greatest teams our school has had this year is its' Baseball team. After losing three of its first five games it went on to win eleven straight. Our team became champion of Northern Erie County, then it beat LaSalle for the Erie-Niagara Championship. The group then played in Offerman Stadium, here it became Section 6 Champions of Western New York. Coach Viggato declared that this was one of the best teams he will ever coach in high school.

Lester. BOWLING TEAM The boys picked to play in the varsity games this year were chosen from the highest scorers that bowled at Gallerys on Monday evenings. This arrangement gave all who participated a chance to bowl against other schools. Coach Robinson and his team did a good iob this year, they won five of the eight games played. Those who bowled in a maiority of the games automatically received varsity letters, as did those members who had contributed greatly to the success of the team in other ways throughout the year.
