IN MEMORIAM ANDREW C. BEAM We, the Senior Class of West Seneca Central School, dedicate this edition of Acenes to Mr. Andrew C. Beam. Mr. Beam was our former district supervisor and was greatly responsible for the centralization of the schools. Through centrali- zation we have gained wider vistas of education. Some ofhis other achievements during his administration were hisfounding of the annual oratorical contest andthe music festival. He also started the freshman basketball league, which was named after him. We will always remember Mr. Beam for all these things which gave us a new feeling of school pride and school spirit.

His worlc has made our school one of the best in western New York. We of the senior class will always remember his devotion to his work and to the school. ' Supervis in Prine ipa WALTER D. CAMPBELL ln the fall of 'l952, Mr. Walter Campbell was appointed Assistant Supervising Principal of West Seneca Central High School. Since his appointment he has worked vigorously to promote the welfare of the student body, the faculty, and the school as a whole. We are grateful to this man for his fine leadership and the inter- est he has shown in the student body.
