Heusinger, R. Hartung, Mr. Kublitz, D. Ball, E. Burrows, Stoddard, S. Brundage. The lcarian Dramatic Society consists of students, Juniors and Seniors, who are interested ln dramatics its Charter Members are the students who participated in the T953 Senior class play. Charter officers are: Diane Pleger - President, Elaine Hardy - Vice President, Patricia Stefanskl Secretary Beverly Michel - Treasurer. Each year the Society will audition for new members. To be admitted to the Society the applicant must have a ninety average in English, theatrical ability and, if possible, other talents such as: salesmonship ability to apply make-up, and a knowledge of stage equipment and all the other necessities that go with making a production successful ln December we presented, as our Senior play, Arsenic and Old Lace and in April we pre ented a short skit for the Student Council Talent Show. The ambition of our lcarian Dramatic Society is to provide entertainment for the student body as well as for the people of the community. 8

Weber, M. DeKay, l. Tolcar. The Discussion Club held its first meeting on November l9, 1952. At this meeting on election of officers was held. They were: Don Doktor - President, Elaine Webb - Vice- Presidentg Betty Dedrick - Secretary, Jerry Chader - Treasurer. This club, under the guidance of Mr. Quinlivan, met the first and third Thursday of every month. ln addition, the group met one night a month with students from three other schools in the Suburban Youth Discussion Group. Some highlights of the club's activities were participation in the High School Forum of the Air, and in the United Nations Model Assembly at State Teacher's College at which we represented Blyo Russia.
