Stude nt lst Row - J. Beale, S. Plisk, Mr. Daley, D. Mascia, A. Metzger 2nd Row - R. Szezepanski, R. Harpster, A. Nerber, D. Wesling, L. Galley The West Seneca Student Council began its second year under the direction of Mr. Thomas Daley. Each of the members was chosen by the student body to perform the necessary obligations of the club. After election, the members were invited to Clarence Central School to became acquainted with the duties of the organization. They gained many new ideas from the council members of other schools. The maior proiect of the group was the selling of candy at every home basketball game. Refreshments were also sold at a dance which was sponsored by the Youth Organi- zation of West Seneca. However, the highlight of the year was the April Amateur show. A trophy was presented to the winner and her name was inscribed on a large cup which was placed in the trophy case. During the school year a movie was shown for the entertainment af the student body. ln addition, the council has provided the required fee for yearbook pictures for non-profit organizations. Although it is very difficult to move ahead, the Student Council feels that this year it has made some progress which will benefit both the council and the students of next year.
