CLASS PROPHECY This year is l963. We bring you a review of this week's news. This is a Gerry Stockton, Diane Pleger production brought to you through the courtesy of James Nosbisch, owner of Gobbily Gooks, a nation-wide chain store concern. This is Norman Noworyta, you' announcer. William Creveling has just been elected President and has iust arrived at the White House with his able ianitorial staff headed by Kenneth Treeby and Robert Kucinski. The outgoing Presi- dent, William Gastle, left his maid, Beverly Maderer, behind to insure cleanliness in the White House. ln the Senate, Irving Shoemaker combined forces with Gerald Kennick to appoint Leonard Blizniak as chief dog catcher of West Seneca. Here we are atthe Paramount Theater in New York City waiting for the arrivals of the celeb- rities. Thislis the first -showing of Ralph Frisch's production Duel on the Moon starring Rose- mary Manzella, who finally got her big break after being stand-in for Elizabeth Taylor for so many yheaars. HE' Beading man is Howard Blair, the new sigh guy of the cinema. The picture is to be s wn in - . The first celebrities we see are those two famous gossip columnists, Barbara Stoddart and Sheila Brundage who are closely followed by that glamorous Marilyn Procknal accompanied by handsome Rocco Pisto. By the way, Bob Meissner that ex-stock car racer, is Mr. Pisto's chauffeur. Coming up the walk is the Governor of New York, Gerald Chader with his secretary, Janet Davis. Here come those two rodeo queens, Shirley Heck and Diane Wichter. They brought along Ray Cislo as stable boy. Shirley and Diane are riding horses exclusively trained by Lorraine Herman. Now we switch overseas where we will survey our men in uniform. General Robert Rebman is head of the tank corps and was quoted as saying that his most difficult problem is keeping Pvt. Allan Moeller and Pvt. Jim Rider from crossing the border and visiting those two spies, Don Rob- wtson and Bob Schaffer. Floating down in parachutes, we sight Martin Pieczynski and Bruce eichman. Now over to White Sands proving grounds where we see Dick Priebe, Dan Szczepanski and Frank Boniface, who are completing a rocket to take them to the moon where Dick Ehinger was stranded when he pole-vaultedatrifle too high. Robert Guindon and Gilbert Schnorr are chief elec- tricians. Paul Attenhofer and Donald Ball will pilot the ship. Larry Bieler will be in charge of launching the ship. Paris, France....William Rauch and Gerald Monin's second annual fashion show is now in progress. The models are Frances Parker, Beverly Vogel, Carlene Yost and Laurel Vogel who are now modeling on the stage. There are many debutantes here for the showing, some with their beaus. Barbara Reach and Carl Seifert have 'ust come in along with Joan Schwartz and Kenneth Ernst, Annette Metzger and Gerald Haefner. Well-known fashion designer, Robert Gaston showed up stag. We're wondering about his wife, the former Marilyn Topp. Could she be at the Olympics???? Flash....Representing Sak's Fifth Avenue at the fashion show, welsee none other than Dolores Gruber and Romaine Mulligan as fashion experts. Atlantic City, New Jersey .... Judy Mamula has iust won the Miss America -qomest with Shirley Simonson and Millie Neuburger as runner-ups. Judges were Larry Sierra, George Sciolino, and Kevin Kratt. The award was made by that sensational bathing suit manufacturer, Marlene Leininger. Sports .... Richard Barry has iust won the world's wrestling crown from Lou Thes. A basketball team sparked by Yea, Glinski, and Bowes won the basketball championship by defeating the Harlem Globe Trotters. Joe Yea, when interviewed said that it was all due to his charming wife,the former Betty Benzel.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE CLASS OF 1953 We, the Senior Class of West Seneca Central High School, being of sound mind and body, do hereby declare this our last Will ancl Testament. To the incoming Juniors: The senior boys leave all their old squirt guns, oily dungarees, and their gab corner at the end of the hall on the first floor. The senior girls bequeath their knack of picking up all the newest fads first, their spring fever every fall, and their dog collars. The entire Senior Class donates its ability to dream up new excuses everytime anyone wants to go A.W.O.L. from Study Hall. We the class of '53 bequeath the following: To Mr. Campbell and Mr. Goodreds: Q11 The lifelong gratitude of the '53 Graduates, Q21 A new wing to our school containing twelve rooms to be used by the one club which meets every day at 2:l5, The Detention Club. To the Guidance Department: Q11 The undying appreciation of l50 Graduates, Q21 the stout hearts of 'ISO courageous souls who toiled bravely through four long years of mental and physical exertion. To Mr. Rathke: Three ten-seated helicopters to be used in gathering up all West Seneca's poor little overworked truants. To the Music Department: Operettas as successful as H. M. S. Pinafore for the rest of the school's existence. . To the Science Department: Q11 A collection of sweet scented aromas to revive the students after the shock of the odors which permeate our school daily, Q21 two new ammeters for Nr. Urick's physics classes. To the Art 8. Design Department: One midget blast furnace for firing pottery, and a new pail for the students. To the Mathematics Department: Ql1 A detention room especially for Mr. Vance's after-school iunior mathematicians, Q21 a new mechanical pencil to figure out Mr. Urick's unsolvable problems. To the Physical Education Department: Another trampoline so there will always be one in both the boys' and girls' gyms and a pogo stick to get on them, Q21 teams as successful as the ones this year. To the Driver Training Department: Q11 Sponge rubber telephone poles, curbs, and signs all through the town of West Seneca, Q21 more machines inthe Driver Training Room which will frighten any knowledge of driving out ofthe pupil's mind so Mr. Daly and Mr. Harbison may begin at the beginning. To the Language Department: 'A new language - - Urdu. To the Social Studies Department: Q11 As a change of temperament, all unemotional students in the Problems of Democracy class, Q21 world peace so that there won't be any mare history classes or history books. To the English Department: We will confiscate all copies of Hamlet, Julius Caesar, and Macbeth. As replacements we will leave Tallulah Bankhead's autobiography, True Story Magazine, and A Street Car Named Desire. To the Industrial Arts Department: Ql1A i909 Ford motor they can take apart and hope to put back together. To the Health and Biology Department: Q11 An unceasing supply of frogs to dissect, Q21 one bottle of Sweet Air to dispel the odor of formaldehyde. To the Commercial Business Department: Q11 Automatic devices on the typewriters to make corrections, Q21 colored paper to break the monotony. To the Home Economics Department: Q11 An anchor to be placed on pins, needles, and scis- sors to keep them from miraculously floating away, Q21 discontinuation of all Boys'l lome Economi ics ClClSS9S, as boys are not supposed to cook better than girls do.

Don Ehinger attempted to swim the Atlantic Ocean but when he got three-fourths of the way across, he decided he cauIdn't make it so he turned around and swam back. Irene Paszkiewicz, Inez Mecca, and Jean Leatherbarrow set an all high volley ball scoring record at Memorial Auditorium. The score was 200 to I00. The girls said that all credit goes to Geraldine Kempke, their able coach. Society News .... Happily married alumnae of West Seneca Central formed a women's club. They elected Alice Ziegler as president, Marlene Seedorf as secreta-y, Ann Pa con as treasurer and Joan Kozak as vice-president. Pat Stefanski was elected baby sitter for the group. After a heated discussion, they finally decided that Maryann Reinard had the cutest baby. Music .... The All Star Jazz band of the month is headed by Don Lillo starring Gary Hall and Eddie Burrows and featuring Robert Jones and Beverly Michel as vocalists. Their concert was given the day after Marlene Bilotta sang in the Metropolitan Opera. It was given as a benefit for the new W.S. Hospital at which Karen Weber, Joan Duge, Elaine Webb, Carol Metzler, and Nancy Meyer are working as nurses. Edith Cechini, the well known party giver of West Seneca, was chair- woman. The closing symphony was played by Marie Baker on her accordion which indeed is a happy ending to a magnificent show. Flash .... Millionaire Donald Doktor, owner ofthe world's largest steel industry today hired the world's fastest typist, Catherine O'Connor. He also hired some of the best secretaries in the business including Nanc Sobo, Adele Ritenburg, Kathleen Van Dooser, Gerry Mumm, and effi- ciency experts Edna MaeEich and Sally Penrod. Mr. Doktor also said that he signed a five hundred thousand dollar contract with Donald Mascia, foreign car manufacturer. Daniel Moieski, Russian steel mnnufacturer, visited Mr. Doktor's plant to study our manufacturing methods. Marilyn Doster, Dorothea Johnston, Gloria Maass, Frances Tryon, and Barbara Matot have iust returned from entertaining the boys overseas. They have been doing a magnificent iob. Africa .... We see where Janet Eckert, and Betty Dedrick have iust arrived in Africa. Because of his friendly association with the natives, Walter Paszkiewicz has consented to be their guide. New York .... We see where the women are really taking over the United Nations again this year.Amon those present are: Shirley Balla, ambassador from the U. S., Edretta Dusch, ambassa- dor from USSR, and Elaine Hardy from the United Kingdom. 1 Flash .... We have iust received a preview of the faculty for out old Alma Mater, West Seneca. The new principal is a woman, Patricia Krueger by name. James Chapple has iust replaced his superior as head turant officer. Teaching social studies is Imelda Muench. Head auto mechanic is Loren Ernst and chief athletic director is ex-Cleveland Brown football player, Jerry Mingle. Specializing in instructing the bowling team is Frances Raslowski. Driving the busses are John Williams and Donald Galley. Entertainment .... Currently starring at Lenny Luczak's Town Casino is Loretta Turo and Audrey Miller with Joe Corbett and his trained wildlife. Also featured are those two Hep-Cats, Jeanne Cusono and Agatha Pagliacci. They have been plugging their latest record, Bea-Cat. glue interior of the Casino has iust been decorated with flowers by the prominent florist, Robert engert. Well, that's it for this week, folks.
