The word memories, is one of the most beautiful in our language, evoking, as it so often does, pleasant recollections of delightful by-gone days. As a matter of fact, however, the memory it- self is a very unreliable instrumentg it chooses to remember some things and forget others, and the reason for the choices, if there be one, is difficult to discover. Many a high school pupil, as he participates in some school event, says, 'Tll never forget this experience ! Or he may think, 'Tll always remem- ber so and so F' But twenty or thirty years later these events and people may have been cast aside by a capricious memory. A part of us, once so im- portant, is utterly gone. Utterly? No, not quite. There will always be the Kimtah, with its living memories, to bring back to us one of the most fascinating and unreal periods of our lives-the time of adolescence.
