Stu- dents who ioin the staff must take one semester of Journalism. The staff strives to include all of the school activities and school news that interests the students. There is not an issue of the Chi- nook that comes out uneventfully. Each time there are problems to be dealt with and discouraging moments when everything goes wrong. Meeting the deadline is one of the necessary evils of putting out a paper. To many, it may seem repeti- tious, but to others, especially parents of sophomores and fresh- men, we hope it will serve as a good gulie. First of all, let us consider the' attendance cost of a full season of football. Ordinarily, there are eight games played during this season. For each game, a student will pay 75 cents a ticket. At 75 cents for eight games, he or she will have spent 5 dollars and eighty cents for a full season's enjoyment. As you can see, this is almost as much as the total cost of a Season's Pass. To give another example, there will be 14 games of basketball iplayed this year. Tickets will also lsell for 75 cents each.
