Mountains, like challenges, come in all shapes and sizes. There are large ones and small ones, rugged ones and easy ones, fearsome ones and safe ones. People respond to mountains in many different ways. Some want only the dangerous ones and can hardly be restrained from tackling them on sight. Others prefer the sott, easy ones and have a grand time in the mild but steady climb. Then there are those who shy away from any kind of going except the downhill type. In the same way, each person chooses the kind of life challenge he is willing to undertake, and by his choice he determines his destiny and the companion who will share it. He will be with those who head any endeavor, or with those who make up the great majority, or with those who muddle about at the end. Climbing the towering, breath-taking mountain is hardest, but it is the most exhilarating! The air is purest at the summit, the scenery most beautiful. lt is the van- tage point which reavels life in its true grandeur. . f 3 7 Lge f-120 C 1250512 Tfeaa'-4 cf 540 X49 ki if c..f6f:v72fg,z Jfcgwai jfcffbc cM,,17,54g!liL0Zi: I QOQ,j!,',A545gg, 1- - i m a' 5 7 U 5 10 A 5 ilT1I19 2t'21Z32l25?5 'IGZSNBT LP ,fy 1' ,...:-.4 tr 1-ir 4-ff If 'L' GZLVAL, f MMU F' ll Mrs. Sally Bryan Scholarship Counselor ' ,. f ,232hw4f3'r A 4,4 Mrs. Katherine Olsen Miss Ruth Phillips Glfls' Counselor Counselor
