If you were asked to describe some ol' our more unique traditions, you probably would turn to the Pow-Wow, to VVest Seattle Day, to the llall of Fame and to other eolorlul events stemming from our Indian and pioneer back' ground. But since traditions are handed down by word ol' mouth from one student generation to an- other, they sometimes go astray and lose their orig- inal meaning. Therefore, we must search deeper for those more significant beliefs and practices which make up our finer and more enduring tra- ditions.
