Miss Joy Mills Advisor DEBATE Debate is the one non- athletic activity in the school tor which letters are awarded to the participants. Debaters are expected to maintain high scholastic standards. To be eligible for a letter, a debater must have participated in at least one inter-school debate. There are usually two inter- school debates a semester in addition to the Speech Fes- tival at the University of Washington.
