The West Salem Chapter of the Future Farmers of America received natio- al recognition at the FFA National Convention in October. FFA members, Paul Gilster, and 1974 oratory champion, Doug Schomberg, along with their advisor Mr. Dale Weber flew to Kansas City for the event. In cooperation with the Future Homemakers of America, the FFA sponsors the pot luck supper, the awards banquet and the Harvest Dance. Presently twelve girls are members of the organization. , .
