Promotes Cultural Reviewing a French record album-Jane Cullmann, Joanne Miller. Betsy Hussa. Marcia Zantow, as Edna Mae Kroger, and cltorun line beauties Toni Wein-garter and Dave Crawford model fashions at the 1967 French Dance. Goals As a culmination of six months’ fund-raising activities, seventeen French Club girls journeyed to Expo ’67 in June. With the achievement of $1,000 goal, the club paid transportation costs for the train trip to Montreal, Canada. Touring pavilions, conversing in French with natives, swimming and shopping proved to be unique and challenging for the members. Annual activities of Le Cercle Francais include an Epiphany celebration on January 6, an April dance, and a spring banquet. Le Cercle Francais strives to promote interest in French language and culture in school as well as in the community. Membership eligibility requires one year of classroom French. Joanne Miller, Bonnie Cox, Paula Wakefield, and Marilyn Glielfi review Expo pictures and souvenirs.
