Each member of the graduating class is aware or will soon be aware of that fact. In our society which is becoming more and more complex it is necessary that each one of you become well-grounded in the basic tools of education so that you may better be able to cope with life's problems. It is our hope that the last four years have been profitable for each one of you. We hope that you have learned to regard each day as an opportunity to increase your educational experiences and that you have been taught to think and to act constructively. This group of thirteen students works with the school board, the faculty, and their advisers to help make and carry out school policy. Although school government is their main function. council members promote and participate in such helpful projects as “Teens Against Polio,” “Care” and the sale of saving stamps. Jiine (Sut Stxsfi On October 29 and 31, the junior class presented the comedy “Time Out For Ginger.” The matinee given on Thursday was enjoyed by the entire student body. Ginger Carroll, starring Barbara Mau, was a high school freshman whose aim in life was to be a football player. Ginger went out for the sport, much to the disgust of her mother and father, Mary Lou Martin and David Borreson. Lizzie, the maid, played by Caryn Goldsmith, was loyal to Ginger and even watched the practice sessions. Joan and Jeannie, portrayed by Karen Miller and Kathy Schild, felt that Ginger’s behavior ruined their whole lives. Tommy Green, Ginger’s boyfriend, enacted by Marvin Bruemmer, was quite offended by Ginger’s behavior, LeRoy Bell as Eddie Davis, a big football star, thought quite highly of himself. Jack Pittenger and Tom Moran were the principal of the high school and Mr. Carroll’s employer, respectively. The play was under the capable direction of Mrs. David Solie. Bill Fleischman was the student director.
