Initiating the freshmen, sponsoring the Dizzyland party, and managing the cloak room were major class projects. Representing the class on the Harvest Dance Courtwas Judy Schwartz, and chosen for the Homecoming Court was Sandra Shaw. Elected as sophomore officers were Susan Larson, president; Bob Steiger, vice-president; Sandra Shaw, secretary; and Fritz Balmer, treasurer. Many sophomores retained their membership in school organizations such as Drama-Thcspian, Pep Club, the ORIOLE, F.F.A., F.H.A., Library, Forensics ,Band, Glee Club, basketball, and baseball. Gene Borreson became manager of the baseball team, and Kenny Peterson acted as assistant basketball manager. Elected to serve as A team cheerleaders were Susan Larson and Merlin Wehrs, while Sandra Shaw, Sandra Sc hi Id, and Adreanna Strittmater led cheer s for the B team.
