sure I cannot see why they should for to me It seems the hardest of all words to say I prefer that someone else would say It For that last word must be to many lf not to all of us, Good bye We are now ready to step forward alone 1nto the pathway of a new life So far we have come together, hand in hand, and we have been looklng forward to thls t1me as a glad one forgettlng that It was going to mean a time of parting, but now that the t1me is here we reallze It and It makes us sad As we step out lnto this big world we feel grateful to all of you, Board of Education, Parents and Teachers who have made it possible for us to receive this valuable education, which will mean a great deal more to us in the future than it does now Education IS the foundatlon of suc cess Without lt you are handicapped always and with it you are prepared to reach your goal m life How many opportunities are opened to you 1f you have not an education '7 There are fevy It is dlfferent today than xt was a almost parallel in the affairs of our countrv Our coun try has before it some big problems and 1f thev are to be solved 1ntell1 gently and successfully, our people must be educated There 9X1St9 between the nations and between the people of the nations a distrust and inslncerlty toward one another The forces which brought on the last war, national suspicion seeking, aggrandlzement are st1ll actlve and at work among the natlons of the yyorld and unless stronger forces counteract and control them thev w1ll surelv produce another war Fven among the closest of the Allies who swore eternal
