FRESHMAN HISTORY Janet Giese Joretta Luthe On August 28, 1945, thirty-one green but eager Freshmen enrolled in the W. S. C. H. S. to seek a higher and better education. The usual initiation ceremony of the Freshmen was held on September 28 at the gymnasium and all departed after refreshments were served, ready to continue their high school course. During the school year, one new member appeared, Robert Mason; and one, Allen Schmidt, dropped out.
