One beautiful day in the summer of while re- laxing on the patio of my huge estate situated on Tuttvillc Street, my butler Jeeves, ;al’:ed in and presented me a telegram Hurriedly, I scribbled on the dotted line and took the wire I soon discovered that it was an invitation to a reunion of the Class of I95k$ to be held at the Clarendon Springs Hotel. I rang i'- r my maid and told her to moke an eopointnent - .th the hr !.rdre ser for me immediately. Luckily, I h; •: recently purchased one of the latest styled gowns which was made out of the finest t organdy. I wo.s all in a dither the week before' this gallant affoir and everything seemed to be topsy-turvy, but when it finally arrived I v cs up about it:30 a.m. By 5:30 my custom-built Rolls-Royce was waiting at the door for me, I arrived at the hotel at 11 o’clock and was all upset because I only had an hour in which to powder my nose. As I walked into the lavishly decorated dining room, I felt a bit out of place after one glance at the glamorously dressed celebrities. Evory-one tried to do his beet scholastically in order to present parents with flawless report cards and evidence of academic progress. hiss liontgomery, our Home Economics instructor, presented a Fashion show with Hyrtha l itbam, Sophia Chapla, and Joan Faddon modeling an array of summer clothing. In the annual Prize Speaking contest, Judith V ener gave a commendable performance with her rendition of Edgar Allan Poe’s, Telltale Heart. Thus came the end of a year which proved to be new and exciting. i95i-'52 After spending a thrilling vacation, the time soon come when we were to return to the .beautiful marble building. Once again, -we had to dust o . f our books and be prepared for a new school year. It was filled with study assignments. games, dances and other extra-cirricular events

It was none other than Johnny Bianchi, v ho was now foreman of Checker ParkmanTs dude, ranch and his wife, the former Anne Osborne, who had become a noted pianist after playing several times at the Chippenhook Grange Hall. In the next group that appeared was Gene Y asik, a professional football player for the Detroit Lion3. Gene had recently won a game sJLnglc-hendcdly against the Cleveland Browns. He escorted Regina Tcavcr the now famous Equestrienne who has been working for the Barnum and Bailey Circus. Regina is also th. owner of a 5,000 acre horse ranch in Southern California. Suddenly, we heard quite a commotion. It sounded like a real argument was in the making. Ken Koczer, a wealthy Texas oil and cattle nan, and Hank Socinski owner of 'the MRock of Ages” granite business and director of Vermont Symphony Orchestra, were exchanging words. The-tv o. were arguing over the oppearencc of five aces in the deck of cords in a friendly little poker game. It was about time to eat and there were several classmates v ho had not yet arrived.
