TP ‘ M Jr. ‘J-t It a .?, started one day when thirty-four students representing Vest’Rutland Graded School, St. Stanislaus School, and others from near-by communities vjere awarded elementary di plcmas. Tov.r, we were ready to embark upon our first big step toward a new future. When the first day of high school camu upon us, buzzing was heard throughout the building. Everyone was dressed neat as a pin” in order to make a good impression on everyone. It wasn't very long before the poor, unsuspecting freshmen would enter the building and all the upper classmen would be ready to gang-up on us to do menial tasks and perform embarassing stunts. We would then have to spend an afternoon with' decorations on our faces. At the freshman reception. Gene Wasik made a great im pression on the audience dressed like a lady. Not knowing he was going to be dressed in this costume, his fellow students thought they had a new female member in the class. It was nearing autumn and a 1 1 the students were admiring the beautiful scenery when i.iss liss called the first class meeting. Now it was time when we -'ere to elect our class representatives. Officers who we selected included President, Gene VJasik; Vice-President, Donald Lincoln; Secretary-'Treasur r9 Katharine Davis. There were many activities for the boys. Among them was football. Those who represente' our class on the squad were Ray Pluta, Jack Bianchi, Gene Wasik, and Joseph Vaccarella

You can't make as much noise with this one as with your real one. JOSEPH VACCARELLA A chauffeur's license. You had enough experience driving 'r. Hinchey's car EUGENE W SIK Dye to match your hair with that of a certain brunette you’ve been dating. REGINA WEAVER A statuette of a horse. This will help you to get started with your horse farm. JUDY WENER A recorder. Novi you can hear yourself talk, Judy. JODY WIERZBICKI A box of stationery You’ll need it, now that Kenny is in the Navy, and so far away. RALPH WILLIA'tS A new chess board. We know the one you have must be worn out after all those sessions with your brother. BERNICE WILK A season ticket to all the wrestling bouts which appear in this territory. MYRTHA WITH Ml A ruler. You’ll need this after you graduate from Cnstleton Teacher's College. STANLEY ZWISTASKI Some polish to shine all those medals you received with the National Guard.

Baseball was the springtime interest among the boys and girls. With the help of our hard-fighting Ray P3uta, tho Golden Horde score. mr.;.y victories and hod a nuccossful cafl -pdigfU The time for final examinations was near-at-hnnd. Evory-one tried to do his beet scholastically in order to present parents with flawless report cards and evidence of academic progress. hiss liontgomery, our Home Economics instructor, presented a Fashion show with Hyrtha l itbam, Sophia Chapla, and Joan Faddon modeling an array of summer clothing. In the annual Prize Speaking contest, Judith V ener gave a commendable performance with her rendition of Edgar Allan Poe’s, Telltale Heart. Thus came the end of a year which proved to be new and exciting. i95i-'52 After spending a thrilling vacation, the time soon come when we were to return to the .beautiful marble building. Once again, -we had to dust o . f our books and be prepared for a new school year. It was filled with study assignments. games, dances and other extra-cirricular events
