In the finals West Rutland won its sixth Class B champn ionship of the Southern Vermont League by outclassing a fast and scrappy Poultney team, Sl-33. The high scorers were Tom LaPlaca, Bob Noonan, both of 'Westside, and Kenny Potter of Poultney. The fast pace set by the Golden Horde began to wear the nblue Devilsn down in the second quarter. The best tribute paid to victorious West Rutland came from Coach Rat- cliffe of the losing Poultney team.
