z r. and Miss Annette Hodges Annette Hodges' title could well be Miss School Spirit. While serving as a Student Council officer during all four high school years, Annette has worked to improve spirit and pro- mote school pride among her fellow students. Annette was also named salutatorian of the Class of 1968 and was the recipient of the Rotary Award. Both David and Annette were nomi- nated by the faculty on the basis of personality, dependability, leadership, scholarship, initia- tive, and ability to co-operate with others. Runners-up for Miss West Rusk were Trudy Wil- liams and Claire Cameron. David Ross As an outstanding member of the student body David Ross put forth great effort during all four high school years to boost the name of WRHS in all fields. He participated in football, basket- ball, track, and baseball during these years. David has also been class vice-president for three years and has served on the Student Coun- cil.
