We Ve only just begun ... i ' ■ - ■ m Wc Had Fo tfT5r Cv.« Witt Neio M r c] f class Rt- £tMc r “ffeON West Roxbury High School 7 8 Supersport The class of 1981 dedicates this yearbook to our pal, Paul Hanlon. 9 10 12 14 Donald Pellegrini t The challenge of the 80’s and the future belong to all of us, but most especially to you. You, more so than any other group, are experiencing the rapid and drastic changes thrust upon you by a scientific and techno¬ logical world. As you are aware, time will not stand still, so I urge you to reach out and take hold of the present. Do it by participating actively in your studies and work, and leave room for sensible, rewarding enjoyment. The future, then, will be ready to receive you and you will be prepared for the future with all the responsibilities involved. As you leave West Roxbury High your teachers and I offer you good wishes and much success. Understand, however, that success does not come easily. It takes hard work and sacrifice to get the things that you want. It also takes compassion and understanding of your fellow man, and herein lies the salvation of our society. All of these together I know you have, and, as you grow older in wisdom and age your tasks will seem less difficult. Your future will be a good one. i 16 Officers of the Class of 1981 Front: Collette Jackson, President; Miss Nanos, Advisor; Gilman Brown. Vice-President. Misty water-colored memories Of the way we were. Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind Smiles we gave to one another For the way we were. Can it be that it was all so simple then Or has time re-written every line? If we had the chance to do it all again. Tell me would we, could we? Memories may be beautiful, and yet What’s too painful to remember We simply choose to forget. So it’s the laughter we will remember, Whenever we remember The way we were.
